MEET THE FAMILY
The Stage 6 needs to tick all the boxes, from descending all day to crushing the biggest climbs or just making light work of your local loop. It uses a 205x57.5 trunnion shock alongside revised upper & lower shock mounts, to dramatically reduce the bikes breakaway force and offer that supple feel riders want but maintain that feedback rich experience we're famous for.

NEW STAGE 6 LAYOUT
The layout of the Stage 6 frame has seen major revisions, the inclusion of Orange's S.A.F.E (Stores Accessories Food & Equipment) should mean you don't have to strap so much to the outside of your bike, you can keep it hidden and readily available. More room has been created to fit a larger water bottle inside the front triangle to keep you hydrated on those longer days in the saddle. We've added our new tapered head tube to improve stiffness and increase strength and we've also revised our sizing with shorter seat tube lengths to allow for longer dropper posts.
Technology developed on our most recent bikes also appears on the Stage 6, it has an asymmetrical swingarm, this allowed us to increase the bike's vertical stiffness whilst tuning its lateral compliance, producing a bike with a direct feel under power but still maintaining buckets of grip.
It’s simple: just when you’d got your head around the natural habitat of 29ers, the Stage 6 explodes it. This bike rewards skill and confidence, and that’s why guides and racers love it. If you’re ready for the ride of your life, step up now.
Please note: This is for guidance only. You may be taller or shorter, it doesn't mean our bikes will not fit you. The best way to determine the correct bike size for you is to try one. We've added some more explanation on sizing theory here
Do what we do well.
The one thing that never changes is that everything will always
change. Once you accept that, the rest is easy.
We’re not middle men, we’re not box shifters, we’re doing what we do to make mountain biking fun for anyone that wants to come aboard. Hand crafted, reliable, high-performance bicycles.
Increasingly we live in a global community, and for others nearly everything is sourced from anonymous factories from all over the world - the reason? Economics. Buy cheap, sell high. We design all our frames here in the UK. Nothing gets picked from a salesman’s catalogue.
ON top of that our high-end model’s frames are built from aircraft grade 6061 aluminium right here at our fabrication plant in Halifax (Elland), West Yorkshire. We know it’s not cheap, it’s not meant to be easier - but we think it’s the best. It’s no secret that we also have frame building partners in Taiwan, and we work only with the best people with relationships going from fathers to sons - they are part of the extended Orange family.
