The RX9 was Gravel before Gravel was a thing. Our original RX9 was released all the way back in 2013 as a "cyclocross-style freeloader" some things have stayed the same like the RX9s passion for the path less travelled while everything else has evolved.
The RX9 is now a thoroughbred gravel machine, built for long winding climbs, fast off-road descents and getting lost in the wilderness.
WHAT MAKES THE RX9 STAND OUT
With plenty of time under our belt in the gravel segment we couldn't be happier with the RX9, with a focus on geometry to enhance confidence off-road but still remain agile for those on road jaunts & bike packing adventures the RX9 offers all the tools needed to have a great time.
The frame features a stack of new boss fixing positions for the bike-packers out there – 2 on the top tube, 3 on the seat tube and 3 on top of downtube with another two underneath. The frame can also be equipped with a dropper post incase the terrain requires it. Plus mudguard bosses! Truly the most versatile gravel bike we've built yet.

Increasingly we live in a global community, and for others nearly everything is sourced from anonymous factories from all over the world - the reason? Economics. Buy cheap, sell high. We design all our frames here in the UK. Nothing gets picked from a salesman’s catalogue.
ON top of that our high-end model’s frames are built from aircraft grade 6061 aluminium right here at our fabrication plant in Halifax (Elland), West Yorkshire. We know it’s not cheap, it’s not meant to be easier - but we think it’s the best. It’s no secret that we also have frame building partners in Taiwan, and we work only with the best people with relationships going from fathers to sons - they are part of the extended Orange family.
