WARRANTY
Standard Warranty Coverage
Orange Bikes Ltd ("Orange") provides the following warranty to the original owner of each new Orange bicycle:
- Frame, Rigid Fork (if fitted), Suspension Pivot Bearings & Orange Components:
- Covered for 3 years from the purchase date.
- Extended to 5 years at no cost when registered at the time of purchase.
Note: If your bike is not registered, it is still covered for 3 years.
Special Cases & Exceptions
- Downhill/Competition Bikes : 1-Year Racing Warranty.
- Paint Finish: Covered for 1 year on all models.
- Suspension Forks, Rear Shocks & Non-Orange Components: Covered by their manufacturer’s warranty. Claims go through your supplying dealer.
Warranty Conditions
- Warranty covers repair or replacement of frames, forks, or Orange components.
- Labour, postage, or additional components are not included.
- Warranty applies only to bikes purchased from Orange or authorised retailers.
Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper assembly (e.g. crossed bottom bracket threads)
- Poor maintenance
- Damage from accidents, abuse, or impact
- Neglect (e.g. paint damage, cable rub)
- Frame protection kits like Invisiframe or Ride Wrap
Warranty Invalidation
- Non-original or incompatible parts fitted
- Rear shocks not supplied with the bike
- Forks exceeding recommended travel (see model specs)
- Incorrect fitting of a dropper seatpost
- Frame modifications (e.g. repainting or unapproved protectors)
Bearings & Maintenance
- Main pivot bearings are covered only for manufacturing faults.
- Bearings are wear items and need routine maintenance, especially after riding in mud or pressure washing.
Intended Use & Model Guidelines
- Bikes must be used within the category defined for each model.
- Excludes competition, hire, reward or rental use.
- See the model’s Ride Guide or geometry section for limits.
Useful Product Life Cycle
All bikes have a useful lifespan depending on build, care, and usage. Harsh use (e.g. racing, jumping, commercial) may shorten it and is not covered under warranty.
Inspect your bike regularly for:
- Cracks or deformities
- Paint wear, corrosion, dents
- Any signs of abuse or stress
Stop riding and contact your dealer if anything unusual is found.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact the Orange dealer where you bought the bike.
- Return the frame (unless advised otherwise) via the dealer for inspection.
- Provide:
- Your original proof of purchase
- Completed and signed registration card
Note: The warranty period is based on the original purchase date and does not reset after a claim.
Final Notes
- Warranty is for the original owner only and cannot be transferred.
- This warranty does not override legal rights provided by your retailer.
- Always contact your dealer first for any concerns or questions.
Tip: Staple your receipt to your warranty card and store it safely. Ensure the card is completed and stamped by your dealer at purchase.
