Place your order
To book your repaint, you'll first need to place your order using the link at the bottom of this product page. Once your order has been received, you can prepare your frame and send it to us.
How to prepare your frame for repaint
When sending your frame for repaint, remove all components, frame protection and any other items that have been fitted. Package it carefully with your name displayed clearly on the box and send it to:
Orange Bikes Ltd

What happens to your frame once it arrives
When we receive your frame, we'll strip the existing finish and prepare it for a fresh powder coat. Once it's out of the oven, we'll face and ream any excess coating, reassemble the frame with new pivot bearings where required, apply new decals and fit a fresh headtube badge before carefully packaging it for its journey back to you.
Please note: Current production frame decals are applied beneath a protective lacquer finish. Unfortunately, the original-style decals used on many older models are not available in an under-lacquer format, so these are applied over the finished powder coat using high-quality, durable vinyl decals.
Good to know
If you're local and would prefer to drop off and collect your frame, just let us know when placing your order by emailing sales@orangebikes.com.
Please allow 2–3 weeks for turnaround. Trust us, it'll be worth the wait!
The Finish
Like everything else at Orange, the finish of our frames is done our way. We could easily prepare a raw aluminium frame, apply one thick wet coat of paint and call it a day. But that wouldn't suit our ethos – we're in the business of building quality that lasts.
Each frame is cleaned, etched and processed individually. We apply a powder primer which is cured in the oven before the colour coat is applied and cured. For current production frames, decals are then applied beneath a final powder lacquer coat before the frame is cured one last time. This process produces a durable finish that's resistant to the elements and built to stand the test of time.
For some older models, the original-style decals are no longer available in an under-lacquer format. In these cases, we use high-quality, durable vinyl decals applied over the finished powder coat to retain the correct period appearance.
Did we mention that powder coating is better for the environment?
