These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Orange Bikes online store. By placing an order you agree to the terms set out below.

These terms apply to direct consumer purchases. Separate agreements apply to authorised Orange Bikes retailers and distributors.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Orders

Placing an Order

Orders can be placed through our website at any time.

Once your order has been submitted you will receive an email confirming that we have received it.

Order Acceptance

Your order is accepted once it has been processed and dispatched.

Order Refusal

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if:

  • payment cannot be authorised
  • stock is unavailable
  • there is a pricing or listing error
  • fraudulent activity is suspected.

If this occurs, any payment taken will be refunded.


Pricing

Currency

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).

VAT

Prices include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.

Pricing Errors

If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm whether you wish to proceed with the corrected price or cancel the order.

Secure Payment Processing

Card payments are securely processed using the Stripe payment gateway.

Orange Bikes does not store credit card details.


Stock Availability

Live Stock Updates

We aim to keep stock information accurate and updated regularly.

Out of Stock Items

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed we will contact you to offer:

  • a full refund
  • an alternative product
  • or the option to wait for restock.

Delivery

Dispatch Times

Orders are typically dispatched within one working day.

Factory operating hours:

Monday – Thursday
7:00am – 5:00pm

Orders placed after 12pm Thursday may be dispatched the following Monday.

Europe
5–7 working days

Rest of World
10–12 working days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on courier operations or customs processing.


Shipping Services

Accessories and merchandise within the UK are shipped using a tracked 48-hour delivery service.

Complete bicycles and frames are usually shipped using a priority 24-hour courier service.


Shipping Costs

UK shipping:

  • £4.50 standard delivery
  • Free shipping for orders over £30

International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

Customers outside the UK may be responsible for import duties, customs fees and local taxes.


Returns & Refunds

14-Day Cancellation Period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

You then have a further 14 days to return the item.


Return Conditions

Returned items must:

  • be unused
  • include original packaging
  • include all supplied accessories
  • be in resaleable condition.

Refunds are issued once returned goods have been inspected.


How to Return an Item

  • the reason for return.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.


Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We will arrange for the correct item to be sent and provide instructions for returning the incorrect item.

Where appropriate, Orange Bikes will cover the return shipping cost.


Faulty or Damaged Products

We take great care in packaging and shipping every order.

If your order arrives damaged or faulty:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible
  2. Provide photos of the issue if available
  3. Keep all packaging until the issue is resolved.

Where a fault is confirmed we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


Product Information

We aim to ensure product descriptions, specifications and images are accurate.

However minor variations may occur.

If you believe a product does not match its description please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue.


Special Bike Categories

Ex-Demo Bikes

Ex-demo bikes may have been used for demonstrations, events or shop test rides for around 12 months.

Before sale each bike is inspected and serviced by our technicians.

Frame warranty covers the remaining balance of the original warranty period.

Components are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.


Closeout Models

Closeout bikes are new and unused models from previous ranges.

They are supplied with the full manufacturer’s frame warranty.


Refurbished Bikes

Refurbished bikes may have been used for display, exhibitions or photo shoots.

They may show minor cosmetic wear such as light scratches or scuffs.

Each bike undergoes a full inspection by our factory workshop technicians before sale and includes:

  • full frame warranty
  • applicable manufacturer component warranties.

Privacy

Orange Bikes is committed to protecting your personal data.

When placing an order we collect information such as:

  • name
  • email address
  • billing and delivery addresses
  • telephone number
  • payment details.

This information is used solely to process orders and provide customer service.

Orange Bikes does not sell or share customer data with third parties for marketing purposes.

All personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.


Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from purchases made through the Orange Bikes website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
