International Account Manager.

Located in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Orange Bikes are firmly established in the cycle industry as a leading manufacturer of high-end bicycles, since 1988.

We’re looking for an International account manager to join our dedicated sales team.

The roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Increase Sales of Orange Bikes in-line with company and territory targets outside of the UK, including dealers, distributors and agents
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing sales channels, identifying opportunities and create leads for new territories 
  • Manage your own diary, using your time efficiently to create a well thought out plan of action to increase our presence internationally and implement it
  • Drive sales of new products from existing and forthcoming stocks of bikes, frames and accessories, focusing on planning with distribution channels and agents
  • Implement staff training within Orange Bikes channels and create programs to incentivize sales
  • Report to stakeholders at all levels regarding channel turnover and customer progress relating to targets
  • Attend some public and trade shows as needed
  • Provide feedback on current and possible future market trends. Pass on customer & dealer feedback
  • Available to assist with Key UK accounts as required

What we need from you


  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as an account manager with a history of either working with key accounts or distributors within the cycling sector with a track record of achieving targets, closing sales and having the ability to negotiate. Previous international account management experience is beneficial.
  • To work efficiently independently 
  • A passion and thorough understanding of all thing’s bikes
  • Excellent communication skills backed up by competent IT skills across Microsoft office
  • A Full, mainly clean, driving license
  • Well organised, self-motivated & results orientated
  • Willingnes to travel, and expectation that there will be some nights away

Our working week is 39 hours Monday-Thursday. Due to the nature of the role, some flexibility will be required from time to time in order to meet business requirements.

Sales Account Manager

We’re looking for an account manager to join our dedicated sales team.

The roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Increase Sales of Orange Bikes in-line with company and territory targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing dealers, identifying opportunities for new dealer locations.
  • Identify new opportunities within territory to increase business
  • Manage your own diary, using your time efficiently
  • Drive sales of new products from existing and forthcoming stocks of bikes, frames and accessories
  • Implement staff training within Orange dealers and programs to incentivize sales
  • Report to stakeholders at all levels regarding dealer turnover and their progress relating to targets
  • Execute a concise, balanced and budgeted demo program
  • Attend some public and trade shows as needed
  • Provide feedback on current and possible future market trends. Pass on customer & dealer feedback

What we need from you


  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in specialist cycle retail, with a track record of achieving targets, closing sales and having the ability to negotiate. Previous account management experience is beneficial.
  • To work efficiently independently 
  • A passion and thorough understanding of all thing’s bikes
  • Excellent communication skills backed up by competent IT skills across Microsoft office
  • A Full, mainly clean, driving license
  • Well organised and self motivated
  • Willingness to travel, with the expectation of staying away from home overnight to cover the territory extremities. 
  • Ideally situated between Bristol and Manchester, but not essential. Depending on the candidates we may look for one individual for the whole country, or 2 candidates: one for the North and one for the South.
