Launching the New Stage models
We're expanding our iconic range with the launch of two radical new 29er models, both aimed at more experienced riders looking for racing-winning performance.
The Stage 5 and Stage 6 are the latest in our lineup of hand-built single-pivot bikes, designed around a 29” wheel but featuring more aggressive geometry for higher speeds on more challenging terrain. In their special ‘Launch’ editions on shown for the first time at the Bike Place, both bikes feature Boost spacing, internal routing and high-end parts from Fox, Hope, Race Face and Shimano XT.

Winter Pack 2017

Shredder at the Magic Rock Tap Bike Day 2016
The inaugural Magic Rock Tap bike day on July 10th 2016 was a veritable success. Cyclists from up and down the surrounding hills and valley turned up with friends and familys to enjoy a variety of fun, films, roller racing and of course some of Huddersfield's finest ale from the Magic Rock Brewery.

Orange Hope components now in options
Our friends over at Hope Technology make some of the best bike components in the world and we are big fans. Recently they introduced a new orange colour in the line up, sure enough our phone started ringing with enquiries.
While we simply can't stock all the hope colours, request for orange has been phenominal, so we've rolled it out as an option across the range. You can have as much or as little as you like.

2016 - Better out of the box
One of the things we are renowned for at Orange Bikes is our custom options. When you buy an Orange bike there's plenty of choice with colours and component specification. We're still giving you these choices, but for 2016 we think we've got a great line up of bikes at every level that will be great straight out of the box, with very little need for major component upgrades.

Them’s the breaks - Rowan Sorrell
We are absolutley gutted for our great friend and Orange rider Rowan Sorrell. After breaking his leg last year and making a spectacular recovery, yesterday he re-broke the same leg. Terrible news. Get well soon Rowan we're right behind you and wish you well.
But Rowan wants something positive to come from his run of bad luck and to that end, Rowan is using this video as a chance to give young riders the chance to have his bikes on loan to race on for the whole season.

RX9 Fork Recall

This is important information for all Orange BIkes customer who have purchased an Orange RX9. A number of Orange RX9 bikes were made with forks, which have a potential risk of breaking. Under certain circumstances the fork steerer tube can become disconnected from the rest of the fork.
While we have had no critical failures, we have had two instances of the steerer becoming detached from the rest of the fork. This occured after the owners reported the forks making a creaking sound and where the forks were removed for inspection.
A number of other forks suffering from a creaking sound have been reported to us. This has led us to issue this recall.
The safety of our customers is very important to us. Therefore if you are the owner of an Orange RX9 please do not ride your RX9 bicycle until the fork has been checked and you are certain it is safe to use.
We understand the inconvenience this will cause to you as an RX9 owner. We apologise for this but would like to reassure our customers we are acting in the interest of your safety.
The affected forks may be fitted to any RX9 bike sold since the release of the model in April 2013.
